Summary: |
This variation of Origin's Save Project command controls the case of the OPJ file extension. |
Description: |
PURPOSE
Case is important when backing up or sharing files on a UNIX file system. Origin's File->Save Project command forces an upper or lower case extension depending on the Origin version. If you open MyProject.OPJ in Origin 7.5 the Save Project command will save it as MyProject.opj, which is not the same file as far as UNIX is concerned. This add-on allows you to save a project file with the same case it had when you opened it. It also allows you to force upper or lower case extensions.
INSTALLATION
Download the OPK file and launch it by double-clicking on the file name or dragging it Origin's program window. This creates a new Save Project button.
OPERATION
The default action of the new button is to save the project using the extension as it already appears on your hard drive. Press Control while you click the button to save the file with a lower case extension (.opj). Press Shift to save it with an upper case extension (.OPJ).
Also works with old project files (.ORG).
Should now work in pre-SR4 builds of Origin 7.0. (2/18/2005) |
