5.19 FAQ-448 Why the exported EPS file cannot be opened in Photoshop or Illustrator?

Last Update: 2/3/2015

If the exported EPS file has transparency settings, it is not possible to open it by Photoshop or Illustrator.

In order to check this, you may turn off the transparency on your graph, export as EPS again and try to open in Photoshop or Illustrator.

If one failed to open an exported EPS 3D OpenGL graph in Photoshop or Illustrator with large dataset plotted, try to set system variable @oglsv = 0 and export the figure as EPS format again.

Once @oglsv is set to 0, it will automatically downgrade the quality of exported EPS to a reasonable level but greatly reduce the size of figure.

Alternative method for exported OpenGL graph with large dataset, you can set system variable @oglssb = 1 and try to re-export the graph. For this setting, the quality of the exported graph is kept but the size will be larger.
