Origin gadgets provide a quick and easy way to perform exploratory analysis on data plotted in a graph. You can perform the analysis on a specific range of the data plot by appropriately positioning a region-of-interest (ROI) object to select the desired range. The ROI object provides a fly-out menu with various options that are tailored to each specific gadget. For example, the fly-out menu in case of the Quick Fit gadget allows you to easily change the fitting function. The fly-out menu in all cases has a Preferences option which opens a secondary dialog to customize desired settings for that Gadget. | |
Quick Peaks gadget picks peaks and integrates them within the ROI.
Cluster gadget performs statistics and data editing on a cluster of data within a rectangular or elliptical ROI. 
Differentiate gadget calculates and plots the nth-order derivative for plotted data within the ROI.
Digitizer can easily digitize images of graphs such as photocopied, faxed, or scanned images.
FFT gadget that shows FFT result for a moving ROI window.
Integration gadget provides easy way to integrate peaks within the ROI.
Interpolate gadget performs interpolation on plotted data within the ROI.
Intersect gadget can calculate the intersection points of input curves and output the X,Y values to a worksheet. It supports more than two input curves.
 Quick Fit gadget that performs linear or nonlinear fitting on ROI.
Quick Sigmoidal Fit gadget can quickly perform a sigmoidal fit in the ROI (Region of Interest) range.
Rise Time gadget analyzes rise/fall time for the step-like signal. 
 Statistics gadget performs simple descriptive statistics on ROI.
Vertical Cursor gadget can be used to read X and Y coordinate values on stacked panel plots and tag them.

With Origin gadgets, you can quickly compute and output results, view updated results on screen when ROI is moved or resized, customize the output, including appending results to a worksheet for each ROI position and save settings as a Theme for future use. |
