The Origin Script Tool is intended as a vehicle to provide example LabTalk scripts. The third release of the Origin Script Tool contains twenty-four (five new) well documented scripts that demonstrate how to use various LabTalk commands and object properties and methods. A number of the example scripts provided are useful programs in their own right. Script Tool 2 doubles as a convenient user interface for organizing (select, delete, edit, execute, and add new) script categories and scripts. In addition, Script Tool 2 provides an example muti-dialog tool created entirely using Dialog Builder technology.
The Origin Script Toolbar is a user defined toolbar containing several buttons that developers of LabTalk scripts may find useful. A number of script related files (of type *.OGS, *.OPS, *.INI, *.TXT, *.OMG, and *.*) can be browsed for and then opened in the LabTalk Editor or NotePad. Launch Windows Explorer and open the Origin software folder by the click of a button. Toggle the Script Window hidden and shown or view the Script Tool and Toolbar PDF documentation file.
To install the Script Tool and Toolbar simply download and save the file OScriptTool.opk, launch Origin 6.1 (or later), and then left-click on and drag the downloaded OPK file into the Origin work space.
Note: Network users must install to both server and client.
