Summary:

Graphical integration of data plots.

Description:

REQUIREMENTS
Please apply the latest patch for your Origin before attempting to install this tool. Latest patches are 5.0 SR2, 6.0 SR4, 6.1 SR4, 7.0 SR4, 7.5 SR6.

PURPOSE
Obtains these baseline-subtracted results from a region of the active curve:

Total Area: Total integration area.
Peak Center: X value at curve maximum.
Peak Height: Curve maximum.
Peak Width: Full width at half maximum.
Peak Centroid: Center of gravity.
Peak Variance: Second moment about the centroid.

INSTALLATION
Extract all files from IntegrationTool.zip to Origin's program folder or your User files folder in Origin 7.5. See the project IntegrationTool.opj for setup and operating instructions.

CHANGES
(1) An X column is no longer required in the worksheet containing the active curve data. (2) Now works on NMR plots created in Origin 5.0, 6.0 & 6.1. ONMR's built-in integration should still be used on NMR plots created in Origin 7.0 and 7.5. (6/3/2006)

I installed it in 7SR4. It works fine, but it does not produce data sheet for the integral curve, differentiation and the momentum. Does anybody know how to access integration tool's help files? I really want to look into its algorithms.

Excellent tool! I usually use it to calculate kinetics of crystallization of matter from DSC data. And I hope you should give us some help how to use because I was confused the first time.

Tan - Sorry, but I've tested this tool in the latest builds of Origin 5.0 through 7.5 and can't reproduce those problems. I suggest you update your Origin. Please use the Click here link if you have any problems.

very nicely done. but it took a while to get it installed. also, the results log does not work quite right for me. The new columns were created on my existing data sheets named "intg 1, 2, etc" but no results were actually logged. otherwise, thanks alot, this has helped me.

asp06 - Did you unzip all files to your program folder (v7.0) or User Files folder (v7.5) before running IntegrationTool.opk?
